Finland’s largest event for the construction and building technology industry, FinnBuild, brought together industry professionals at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre from October 8-10, 2024. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the event is the most significant meeting place for the construction sector, attracting nearly 19,000 professionals this year. They came to explore the latest products and services in the industry and attend current topical presentations.
The industry is rapidly transitioning toward a lower-emission future and showcased a vast range of new products with a focus on sustainability. We were particularly pleased with the active visitors who eagerly engaged with the products and networked. This sentiment is surely shared by other companies exhibiting at the event.
“Despite the challenges facing the construction industry, companies at FinnBuild have been extremely positive. The industry made strong networking efforts at the event, and on Tuesday, we were also delighted by the engagement of students,” says Jussi Kivikari, the event’s Business Manager from the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Kolmeks has participated in all FinnBuild fairs since the beginning, and we consider this biennial event to be the most important for the construction and building technology sectors. According to Kolmeks Sales Manager Mauno Pakarinen, the excellent atmosphere of the event has remained strong throughout the years. The fair provides an opportunity to meet familiar faces and share experiences, but also to plan for the future.
This year, our booth was once again located in the TALTEKA shared area, where our experts presented parts of our pump series, Spirotech products, and the versatile services of our maintenance department.
