Kolmeks (Chuzhou) Ltd. – 20 Years of State-of-the-Art Production.
Last month, Rolf Backe, the Unit Director of Kolmeks (Chuzhou) Ltd., hosted the celebration, which was attended by representatives from Kolmeks Group in Finland:

20 years of Kolmeks Chuzhou and our operations in China
As we mark the anniversary, this is the perfect time to provide a more detailed introduction to our factory and business operations.
The first Kolmeks unit in China was established in 2004. Ten years later, in 2014 the first factory was replaced by a completely new 14,000 square meter facility, still located in the city of Chuzhou, Anhui province.
The factory offers production and supply chain solutions to our customers, both locally and globally. The capacity of the factory is mainly used for contract manufacturing for our OEM customers as well as for the production of Kolmeks’s own pumps and motors. Our clients are operating in various demanding business areas such as electrical motors, pump systems, elevators, cranes, process and automation, along with land and marine propulsion applications.
Our Chuzhou factory specializes in a range of services:
🔹Our full stator assembly process incorporates manual coil insertion and advanced machining, providing flexibility for different volume applications. We prepare insulation materials, manage coil winding, and conduct stator varnishing in-house. We also provide the option to deliver fully assembled stators with frames, rotors, and shafts customized to your specifications. Additionally, our extensive supplier network offers efficient sourcing of stator and rotor cores.
🔹We operate high-precision CNC machinery from leading brands like Toyoda, Mazak, and Okuma, featuring 10 CNC machining centers with table size range from 630 to 1050, and another 10 CNC lathes including multi-lathe as well as vertical and horizontal machines. Our capabilities also include cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, along with full certifications and CMM reporting.
🔹 Our assembly lines are flexible, catering to customer sub-systems or final products delivered to their final assemblies or directly to end customers around the world. We have extensive experience in assembly services for motors, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic-related products or systems, supported by our in-house production of machined components.
🔹We have a deep understanding of production processes and logistics within a global supply chain. Working closely with raw material suppliers and competitive foundries, we provide cost-efficient sourcing. Our global supply chain management positions us as a reliable partner and full-service manufacturer for OEM customers.
🔹 Quality, Safety, and Sustainability are the cornerstones of our strategy at Kolmeks. The Kolmeks Chuzhou factory is certified by the following ISO standards:
ISO 9001 – Quality management, ISO 14001 – Environment management, and ISO 45001 – Occupational health and safety management, and we also follow the automotive industry standard VDA 6.3.
