Quality in the entire process
Quality is a central part of our operations and management system. For Kolmeks, quality applies to both products and services, and its goal is to meet the high-quality expectations of our customers. Through risk management and planning, we ensure not only the continuity of our own operations, but also a solid foundation for our customers’ businesses.
We manufacture both our own and our customers’ products. Our high-quality and energy-efficient pumps are the result of precise design, continuous development, and careful manufacturing. During the manufacturing of both our own and our customers’ products, we ensure that their quality always deserves customer satisfaction.
Customer satisfaction is also reflected in the repeated excellent feedback from sales, customer service, and maintenance in customer satisfaction surveys. At Kolmeks, every employee does their part to achieve our quality goals.

Certifications and quality assurance

Our quality management is based on certified management systems.
All our units have:
ISO 9001 -quality certificates
ISO 14001 -environmental certificates
ISO 45001 -occupational health and safety certificates
We also require our main suppliers to have the appropriate certificates.
In accordance with our operating system, we ensure quality at several stages – during incoming quality control, during production and after the products are completed. Our trained employees are responsible for quality assurance.:
Mikko Kärkkäinen, Quality Director at Kolmeks Group, explains what quality means for our business:

By carefully following the process steps, we not only correct problems as they arise, but also learn from them and prevent similar mistakes in the future.”
In addition to quality management, Mikko is also responsible for the Group’s sustainability and safety issues. No two of his days are the same, and each day brings new challenges and opportunities to strengthen our processes – especially when it comes to quality, which he sees as a dynamic, constantly evolving goal, not a single task.
