Career at Kolmeks

Santeri Huusko

Santeri started at Kolmeks as a summer employee in pump assembly and, after the summer, continued in motor assembly, where he worked until he began his military service.

After completing his military service, Santeri returned to the same role for a longer period, until in 2021 he transitioned to his current position in the service department. At first, he repaired motors and pumps, but over time his work gradually shifted more towards service sales.

Today, Santeri also maintains the Lunni equipment register, through which customers are offered biannual scheduled maintenance services for vacuum air ejectors.

In his work, Santeri values good colleagues, music while working, and coffee breaks in good company.

Minttu Perttula

Minttu joined the Kolmeks team in 2024 and is responsible for ensuring the smooth progress of production at a system level. Her goal is to ensure that production is completed as planned and on schedule.

Minttu plans and manages the overall production process, acts as the supervisor for the Production Coordinator, and supports various functions with challenges related to ERP, WMS, Planner, and MES systems. In addition, she works together with the team to continuously develop production processes to make them more efficient and effective.

For Minttu, the foundation of a successful workday lies in well-functioning tools, a positive attitude, creativity, and a willingness to experiment. With these qualities, challenges are turned into solutions and operations are continuously improved.

Kristi Konsing

Kristi has had a long career at AS Kolmeks in Estonia, starting in 2005 in the winding department as a winder. Over the years, she has grown with the company and taken on new responsibilities, moving into the role of technologist in 2019.At the beginning of 2023, she became supervisor of the winding department, and since March 2026 she has been working as a Project Manager.

Throughout her career, Kristi has developed strong expertise in production and engineering processes, supported by close cooperation with her team.

For Kristi, a successful workday is built on strong team support, skilled and motivated colleagues, and good collaboration when implementing new developments. And, of course, a good cup of coffee is always part of the day.

Merlyn Milvek

Merlyn is part of the AS Kolmeks team in Estonia and started her journey at Kolmeks in 2019 as a finisher on the stator production line, later moving into the role of a CNC machine operator in 2020. During her time at Kolmeks, Merlyn has gained valuable experience and developed her skills in a supportive and continuously improving work environment.

For Merlyn, a successful workday is built around good teamwork, a friendly atmosphere, and open communication. She appreciates that employees’ ideas and feedback are listened to and that working conditions are constantly being developed. A welcoming workplace, helpful colleagues, and of course a fresh cup of coffee and refreshing water are small but important parts of her everyday work at AS Kolmeks Estonia.

Erno Snellman

Erno started working full-time at Kolmeks in 2011, but he was already familiar with the company through vocational school internships and summer jobs. After graduating as a machinist, he worked at the company until leaving for military service.

After completing his military service and working in other positions, Erno returned to Kolmeks. His current role mainly involves CNC machining, but when needed, he also takes care of other tasks, such as logistics-related duties. Earlier in his career, he has also worked with 3D measurement tasks.

In his work, Erno appreciates his colleagues and the good conversations shared during coffee breaks.
