Structure and characteristics of horizontal pumps
Kolmeks horizontal pumps are horizontal monoblock centrifugal pumps with dry electric motors that meet the requirements of the EcoDesign directive.
The pump impeller is mounted directly on the electric motor shaft without separate couplings. The electric motor has high efficiency, low noise and is suitable for frequency converter use. The electric motor bearings are permanently lubricated and maintenance-free. The pump flanges are suitable for
counter flanges dimensioned in accordance with the ISO 7005 directive.
Sizes and material options
The range of horizontal pumps covers pump sizes DN32 – DN65. In horizontal pumps, the suction flange is often larger than the pressure flange. The pumps are available in cast iron and in stainless steel AISI304 and AISI316.
Typical applications
The most common applications are industrial washing machines and pressure boosting.
