Bronze in-line pumps and suitability

Kolmeks in-line constant speed pumps (AP, AEP, ALP, LP and those with IEC motors with the additional designation SD) as well as pumps with integrated frequency converters (SC, MD, NC) are made of bronze, which makes them suitable for, among other things:

  • Hot water
  • Chlorinated water
  • Closed and open systems

In-line pump design and motor technology

In-line pumps are centrifugal pumps designed for pumping purposes and equipped with Kolmeks or IEC dry motors (additional marking SD), in monoblock construction, meeting the requirements of the EcoDesign directive. The electric motor has high efficiency, quiet running noise and is suitable for frequency converter use. The bearings of the electric motors are permanently lubricated and maintenance-free. The pumps can also be equipped with an SC, MD or NC series frequency converter integrated onto the electric motor.

The impeller of the pump with a Kolmeks motor is mounted directly on the shaft of the electric motor (separate clutch in SD) and is a highly energy-efficient and reliable design.

KC domestic water pumps

In addition, our range includes electronically controlled, high-efficiency domestic water pumps.

The KC SAM / SAS II pump has a stainless steel housing. The pumps can be used as circulation and transfer pumps for clean liquids.

The rotor package is made of one piece without welding, the rotor casing is made of stainless steel AISI 316, the pump shaft is made of stainless steel AISI 316. The impeller is made of synthetic material reinforced with glass fiber PES GF30. The bearings are made of graphite. The SAS II pump series is available with a wide range of automation interfaces, for example with the C-additional module the most common bus interfaces.
