SpiroVent Superior S600
High-Capacity Vacuum Degasser
SpiroVent Superior S600 is a fully automatic, high-performance vacuum degasser designed for closed heating, cooling, and process water systems. It is particularly suited for large installations where mechanical air separators are insufficient or where systems have significant static height.
How It Works
The S600 operates by applying vacuum degassing. A portion of the system water is directed into a chamber where a strong vacuum is created. Dissolved gases are released and removed, after which the treated, ‘gas-hungry’ water is returned to the system. This allows it to absorb additional air pockets throughout the installation.
Key Features
- Operating pressure range: Reliable performance in systems with 2.5–6.0 bar pressure.
- SmartSwitch control: Automatically detects when degassing is complete and switches to standby mode to save energy.
- Efficient degassing: Removes dissolved gases, reducing corrosion and flow noise.
- Automatic refill options (-R / -B): Maintains system pressure and degasses incoming water before it enters the system.
- User-friendly interface: Displays system status, pressure, and alarms.
- Plug & Play: Delivered as a complete, ready-to-install unit.
Technical Benefits at a Glance
- Improved efficiency: Air-free liquid transfers heat and cooling more effectively.
- Reduced corrosion: Removing air extends the life of pumps and valves.
- Quiet operation: Eliminates noise caused by air in the system.
- Stable performance: Easier system balancing without air-related blockages.
