A significant new factory expansion has been built next to Okmetic’s existing silicon wafer plant in Koivuhaka, Vantaa. The new facility spans over 40,000 m², including approximately 6,000 m² of cleanroom space.
Kolmeks, in collaboration with Boctok, has delivered Kolmeks pumps for expansion.
Kolmeks pumps can also be found in the existing production facility adjacent to the new state-of-the-art factory. Located just 500 meters from Kolmeks’ Vantaa service center, the proximity ensures that maintenance operations are smooth and efficient.
More than 130 Kolmeks pumps were delivered to the new facility. The smallest pumps, with a power rating of 150 W, serve the heating of air handling units, while the largest ones, at 90 kW, handle the needs of the condensate circuits. The process subcooling networks were implemented using redundant multi-zone pumps to ensure uninterrupted operation of the process equipment.
Boctok Oy and Kolmeks have once again worked closely together to deliver a reliable and energy-efficient pumping solution that meets the demands of cutting-edge technology.
